The North Carolina State Banking Commission met on Wednesday, October 29th, for a regularly scheduled meeting. The commission received an update on trust supervision, followed by a report on banking supervision from Richard Stewart, Director of Bank Supervision.

The Commission also received a report on the financial position of the Office of the Commissioner of Banks from Joyce Jarrett, the agency’s COO.

The next meeting of the State Banking Commision is slated for January 21, 2026.
