The Federal Reserve is hosting a community banking-focused conference in Washington, D.C., on Thursday, October 9, which will be broadcast live at federalreserve.gov and on YouTube. The agenda includes a segment moderated by Jim Cramer of CNBC entitled “Winning Strategies for Community Banks” in which leaders of two banks with NC operations will participate. Chip Mahan, CEO, Live Oak Bank, and Tom Broughton, CEO, ServisFirst, will participate, along with the leader of a Texas-based bank.
